Booking.com chatbot books housing fast and user-friendly

Booking, an online service for booking housing, announced the launch of a beta version of the Booking Assistant chatbot. The bot is available on any mobile device in any country but only in English.

It differs from the website in that it includes a messaging platform, a support service and a booking service. Besides, booking process is much faster than on the website: it takes just 5 minutes.

Booking Assistant is able to analyze all customer messages to determine frequent requests for assistance. They are primarily related to payment, booking cancellation, changes in arrival/departure time, taxi and breakfast ordering etc.

Eventually, the chatbot will be more advanced, as it constantly learn how to systematize requests: the service will determine a type of user message and direct it to one of 90 topics for processing.
