A news-writing system Soccerbot publishes articles in 3 seconds after the newsworthy event takes place

South Korea's news agency Yonhap uses Soccerbot to highlight sports news. The bot needs just several seconds to write an article. It has already produced over 380 articles about football matches of the English Premier League (EPL) 2016-2017.
The management of Yonhap is satisfied with the quick operation of the bot. News on the football tournament were produced within 2-3 seconds after the end of matches. Naturally, the bot did not write long articles, but short stories. However, they contained all relevant information, important for fans that missed an event.
Representatives of Yonhap will launch a new robot reporter by February. It will cover PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
Recently, Google invested over $800 thousand in the development of ‘Radar’ news-writing software. It is likely that bots will publish news on the Internet instead of people.
